Welcome

to my online studio space

Here you’ll find paintings shaped by emotion, energy, and a sense of connection—to people, place, and time. My work invites you to pause, look closely, and bring your own meaning to the layers. It’s not about answers, but about noticing what stirs.

My Work

This is a journey through the evolving threads of my practice—each series shaped by shifting questions, materials, and moments. I invite you to explore the work not just by looking, but by noticing what it draws out in you.

Inevitably History Repeats

Current Practice

My most recent abstracts fuse vibrant hues, dynamic textures and considered composition to invite you into moments of reflection—where emotion, memory and our connectivity intersect.

Dartmoor Spirit Revisited

Transition

In this bridge between past and present, you’ll see experiments in colour, form and layering as I shift from foundational explorations toward more nuanced dialogues with nature and the human spirit.

Foundations

These early pieces lay the groundwork for my practice, exploring raw textures and bold gesture as a means to surface the core emotions and questions that continue to drive my work.

The Sall Blue Dot

Conceptual Exploration

Here I push beyond purely aesthetic concerns, using abstraction as a tool to probe ideas around resilience, power and the fragile balance between humanity and the natural world.

See differently.
Feel deeply.
Think freely.

MY STORY

Hello, I’m Kevin, and I’d like to thank you for taking the time to explore my work.

I’ve had quite a journey to reach where I am today. My background includes a career in IT and management, alongside many years of volunteering in mental health, social, and environmental causes. These varied experiences have given me a grounded perspective, complemented by curiosity and empathy—qualities that naturally flow into my art.

As a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA), I am dedicated to using art as a medium to explore the resilience of the human spirit, the fragility of our environment, and the connections that unite us. In my more recent work, this exploration carries a subtle political edge, highlighting how power imbalances and ignorance can harm both humanity and the broader natural world. Though these themes may reveal our collective shortcomings, I remain hopeful—my pieces are designed to spark conversation rather than demand devotion.

Based in Endsleigh, a peaceful hamlet in the Tamar Valley, Devon, my practice focuses on abstract and abstract expressionism. Through vibrant colours, layered textures, and dynamic compositions, I explore the transformation of emotion, our relationships with each other, and our bond with nature. Ultimately, I aim to inspire dialogue that not only acknowledges our shared challenges but also seeks pathways toward understanding and positive change.
